Avoid the Indoors, Take a Surf Vacation

Surf Vacation
It is the season, which you dread most as a surfer but you can always go on a surf vacation.  The air is so cold outside that wearing only a pair of shorts or trunks can be an effective way of achieving slow death.  The ocean is not only icy; it also not too generous in providing you and your buddies the waves that you enjoy most.  If this happens at certain times of the year, then you may as well plan vacationing annually to places where you can still bask in the warmth of the sun and breathe the fresh and salty air.  For someone who cannot be away from the ocean for even a day that should be a welcome idea.

Of course, it is not just your love for the sun and sea, which should prompt you run away from the winter or any other uncooperative weather.  This is not enough reason to fly to an exotic beach resort in the Pacific or in South America.  If so, then you can just go to some tranquil hideaways with clear blue waters and sandy beaches.  However, if you are going to carry your surfboard with you, then you must know exactly the places you can spend your surf vacation. For a start, you can start with those located near the tropics. These locations can certainly provide with enough sun for the most part of the year.  Then make sure that these have great beaches with good surfing waves too. The most recommended will be those on the Pacific.

Try browsing on the internet for vacations spots that can offer you a rare combination of sun, sea, and surf.  It is most likely that you will come across New Zealand, Australia, Solomon Islands, and many other destinations in the South Pacific.  If you want to mingle with friendly locals and learn their rich culture while taking a break from surfing, you can try the Philippines.  Its most popular surfing spots are in Samar and Siargao Island.  What is a surf vacation without an enjoyable nightlife?  Surfers are creatures that can stay up late at night too.  So, choose resorts with a vibrant after-six atmosphere.  It is a vacation, after all, not a mere surfing practice abroad.  Have fun in the clubs at night the way you enjoy the surf waves during the day.

If you are not too informed about these places, you can just go online and search for websites that give you ideas about these.  Some of these may even allow you to fix your reservations there and then.  Surfing the net should be an easier task than surfing big waves.  After that, you can begin planning the details of your surf vacation.
